Cost of Photography
Everyone expects that hiring a professional is going to cost them a lot of money and therefore will take photos themselves, get a friend or family member to take photos for them. This is great but over time the results are not as good as they could be. Photography doesn't have to cost you as much as you may think. If you are a business, self employed or a sole trader then it is a legitimate business expense. It is also a cost that can be included in jobs when pricing just like you would for materials and shared with your client. If you are a kitchen or bathroom fitter, electrician or plumber who wants high quality photography of their work, these images could be shared with your building company, the architect or even the interior designer.

Pack Shot Photos
Simple product photography on a white background used for online stores starting at just £19 each

Automotive Photography
Car shoots for personal use, use in advertising or use in magazines start at around £200 but are generally charged at a day or half day rate of £500/ £300.

Building Project Photos
For building companies that want progress shots, I liaise with your staff on site and arrange to come to site and take photos, I bring my own PPE, steel toecap boots, high vis and hard hat, I have no issues working on building sites and will make sure those in shot have PPE so that your photos are as they should be. Prices would be worked out on number of projects and timescales.

Business Portraits
Business portraits are an essential part of business and social media, these days people want to see who they are dealing with and it gives a more personal approach. I will come to your place of work and photograph your staff these can then be edited with background removal / replacement and the addition of a company logo if needed which is ideal for the likes of LinkedIn. £500 per day + editing.

Product Photography
More artistic photography or more complicated setups including floating shoes etc that include a cost for setup start at around £75 each but contact me for a more accurate cost.

Kitchens / Bathrooms
I charge these at a 'per house' rate of £200 as they are normally just one per house or where there are 2 it's normally not going to be a lot extra already being present on site.

Compeleted Building Projects
I will photograph your completed building project once dressed by the interior designer to the highest quality, this is normally done in half a day (£300) but you may like it to be slightly longer if shooting into an evening to get a shot of a property lit at dusk.
All work will be under a contract and invoiced with 30 day payment terms, images will be released in draft to be checked and then in full once payment has been made unless other arrangements made.
